TRAINING

Interactive Reading & Notetaking (IRN, Inc.) offers training in various locations across the state of Virginia for grades PK through college. Each six hour session moves theory into practice as we show participants how to combine the research, strategies, standards, and content into a powerful framework called Interactive Reading & Notetaking!

In each interactive session, educators assume the role of both teacher and student (metacognition) and create their own interactive notebook to better understand the WHYs and HOWs behind the process (ownership and engagement) – each page of the notebook shows teachers and students the strategies for learning how to learn!

Virtual Follow-Up Sessions:

Each 6-hour session is followed by an online session for questions, comments,
and revelations. Each session is scheduled approximately 1-2 months after training.
