Our Interactive Reading & Notetaking Strategy combines the research of Robert Marzano, Brian Cambourne, Ellin Keene, Ruby Payne, Kylene Beers, and Doug Reeves into a framework of research-based reading strategies and instructional strategies that can support students and teachers nationwide.  It is differentiation of instruction and learning at its very best reaching all reading levels, abilities, and modalities.

Based on the expectations of NCLB, rigorous state standards, and our own experiences in elementary, middle, and high school classrooms, we believe training and consistency of strategies are the key components to creating engaged, independent students. Our Interactive Reading & Notetaking Strategy teaches students in all grade levels and in all subject areas how to learn.  With continued practice these strategies become a mindset, a way of thinking, thus closing the achievement gap for good!
